Compassionate Care From our Vets for Pets of Skokie

Full-service veterinary care? Check. Friendly, professional vets? Double check! The Skokie veterinarians of Fox Animal Hospital have years of experience caring for pets of Illinois and are always happy to befriend new pets. We gladly welcome dogs and cats to our practice and are honored to be partners with you in your pet’s health. Whether your dog/cat needs a wellness exam, dental cleaning, or surgery, we can help. Making and keeping our patients well is our #1 priority, and we look forward to working with your companion for years to come.

About Our Skokie Vets

Founded by Dr. Robert Fox, Fox Animal Hospital has been caring for pets since 1996. Since then, we’ve added more doctors and support staff to our team—all of whom share the same passion for pet care. Our vets are pet owners, just like you, so you can be confident that your canine or feline companion will be well taken care of while at our hospital.

Dr. Fox earned his DVM from the University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine in 1983 and has been practicing small animal medicine ever since. Drs. Hartzen and Jethani also graduated from the University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine and both joined the practice in 2003. Dr. Lempka earned her DVM from Kansas State University and provided relief veterinary services to Chicagoland animal hospitals before joining our team years later. A graduate of Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Lyons joined our team in 2001 with a special interest in feline medicine.
