Esther is a veterinary technician. She attended Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois where she earned an associate degree in Veterinary Technology. Growing up in a farm, Esther has always been surrounded by animals. Aside from dogs and cats, she also loves horses. She counts walking thoroughbreds one of her favorite activities. When not at work, Esther enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with her husband, Scott, and her dogs Nebbio and Harley.
Christy is a veterinary technician. From the age of 10, Christy has fostered animals and volunteered in shelters. It is natural that she should choose a career in veterinary medicine. Prior to joining our team, Christy worked in an emergency and critical care. She is a single parent with 3 sons. In fact, she won “Mom of the Year” award four times between 2008 and 2014! Christy has a dog named, Nugget. Her favorite activities outside of work is watching her children play sports and dance.
Donna is a veterinary technician. Like many of us who chose veterinary medicine as a career, Donna has loved animals for as long as she can remember. She worked for an emergency and critical care prior to joining Fox Animal Hospital. She has a python named Padme that she rescued from Friends of Scales Reptile Rescue. Several times a week, prior to coming to work, Donna works out in an athletic boot camp. In her free time, she reads and watches sports (“Go Cubs!”).
Samantha joined our team in 2015. She has been a veterinary technician since 2004. Samantha lives with her fiancé in Des Plaines. She does not own any pets of her but frequently fosters pets in need. Her specialty is bottle feeding new born kittens. She loves the outdoors. Her favorite activities outside of work are traveling overseas and cooking.
Mary Kay (MK) is a veterinary assistant. Because of her remarkable ability to keep scared or painful animals calm and comfortable, she has earned the title of Fox Animal Hospital’s “Comfort Care Specialist.” MK has been with the practice for 12 years. She is mother of two grown children, and a grandmother of 3. She has six cats of her own-Rufus, Bella, MoMo, Timon, Sleepy and Noodle. When not caring for animals, MK loves working on word games and puzzles.
Allie started working part-time at Fox Animal Hospital from the time she was a teenager. Allie has since graduated college, and holds a full-time job as a teacher's assistant in a special needs classroom. Because of her love for working with animals, she continues to spend some evening and weekend hours helping out at Fox. Allie loves horseback riding and working out in her spare time.
Amy is a college student at Wilbur Wright College. She works the front desk during the hectic hours of the weekend and evenings. In addition to her excellence as a receptionist, Amy is also appreciated for her great sense of humor. Amy has a cat named Lola. When not studying or working, Amy paints and practices yoga.
